C vuelve a ser el lenguaje de programación más utilizado

Según el TIOBE index, que se encarga de medir el uso de cada lenguaje de programación, vuelve a ubicar al -viejo- lenguaje C, como el lenguaje más utilizado, luego de 4 años.

Tanto el el 2008 y en el 2009, el numero uno fue para Java, pero los datos del 2010 le dan una baja del -1.29% en su uso.

Otro dato que no sorprende es el aumento del lenguaje Objetive-C, que es utilizado para programar aplicaciones para el iphone y las nuevas ipads.

Por último y un dato que si me parece raro es la baja del uso de Javascript, cuando cada día se ven más sitios web con miles de lineas javascript para su funcionamiento.

Resolviendo el Sodoku con una query

Por más que lo intente, no voy a poder entender perfectamente la query que han utilizado para resolver el juego del Sodoku utilizando una nueva característica de Oracle Database 11g llamada hierarchical querying.

La empresa Kentico software anunció una muy interesante iniciativa llamada “Tree for Bugs”. Según explican en un comunicado de prensa, van a plantar un arbol por cada bug que tenga su software. Bien por la ecología y tambien por la estrategia de marketing que han tenido. Personalmente como programador, podria colaborar con miles de bugs desinteresadamente.

Para los que se quejan de Google Analytics, les dejo esta alternativa Open Source que se ve bastante bien. Se llama Piwik y tienen muchas funcionalidades interesantes.
